Nina Bellord, a seasoned Hair and Makeup artist initially based in Hawaii, has recently embarked on a new chapter in her career by relocating to New York to pursue her deep-seated passion for Hair and Makeup.

Nina's journey into Hair styling, mainly extensions and wigs, was fueled by a personal experience. Witnessing her mother's battle with breast cancer and the subsequent effects of chemotherapy ignited her interest in providing solutions. This led her to undergo specialized courses in wigs and Hair extension application. Eager to expand her expertise, Nina returned to Australia, where she excelled at the Toni & Guy Academy of Hairdressing. Graduating at the top of her class, her avant-garde work was showcased in "Culture Magazine," alongside other distinguished industry works.

Upon returning to Hawaii, Nina established her Boutique Salon, rapidly garnering a sizable and devoted clientele. An unexpected opportunity to contribute to a movie project presented itself. From day one, Nina was captivated by the intricacies of behind-the-scenes hair and makeup artistry. Her love for the entire process of bringing characters to life on screen and in print fueled her desire to enhance her skills further.

In pursuit of excellence, Nina relocated to New York, where she enrolled in the Master's Program at MUD (Makeup Designory). During this intensive program, she mastered airbrush and traditional makeup techniques for beauty, bridal, film/TV/print, fashion, and SFX. She showcased her talent in designing makeup and hair for various beauty and fashion photo shoots. Her portfolio includes a range of character makeup and special effects.

Trained in airbrush and traditional makeup and skilled in hair styling, cutting, coloring, chemical services, and hair extensions, Nina possesses the versatility to create looks ranging from natural to dramatic for any medium. Her reliability, organizational skills, efficiency, creativity, and passion for her craft are evident in her work. Nina's meticulous attention to detail and eagerness to continuously learn new skills and techniques position her as a valuable asset to any team.
